Come to one of our Taster Sessions to find out all about Matrix. Choose one of our dates available: Saturday 11th February 2023 10am-1pm, Wednesday 8th March 6-9pm, Saturday 18th March 10am-1pm, Wednesday 19th April 6-9pm. Book a place by emailing sophie@matrix.ac.uk

To apply for the Matrix BSc Integrative Counselling course we will require the following from you:

  • A completed application form and declaration form
  • RPL information if required
  • 2 x references
  • A scanned copy of highest educational award certificate

Please follow the guidelines when completing the application form. The application form needs to be completed electronically.

Applicants to Year 2 or 3 are required the Matrix RPL policy. Details of where to send your application are on the Application Form.

If you are offered a place we will require a deposit, completed enrolment form and signed student contract to secure your place.

We allocate places following a successful interview.  Year groups will have 15 students per group and groups are filled as the places are offered. Previously some applicants have missed out on a place due to a late application submission.

English language requirements

If English is not your first language we accept a range of English tests to check language proficiency. You must have taken the test within the last two years.

We accept:

  • IELTS with minimum grade 6.0 (with 5.5 in all components)
  • Cambridge Proficiency Certificate with minimum grade C
  • Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English with minimum grade B

Students transferring in from another HE institution to Matrix

We accept transfers from other HE institution. Students wishing to transfer need to fulfil the requirements detailed in the Matrix Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) policy.
